Profile of Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, Candidate of TNI Commander in Lieu of Gatot Nurmantyo.

Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto was elected as TNI Commander to replace General Gatot Nurmantyo who retired. Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto became famous after dismantling corruption cases in the Ministry of Defense Indonesia (Kemenhan), such as the procurement of aircraft and helicopters Kemenhan. Hadi started his career at Air Squadron 4 headquartered at Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base, Malang, East Java. The task of Air Squadron 4 is to operate light transport aircraft for Air Support Operations, restricted SARs, and pilot aircraft courses. Hadi's job at the time was to become a Cassa transport pilot. Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto was elected Commander of the TNI by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) because he was considered capable and capable in leading the institution of TNI.
